How We Started and Why

My story starts with a simple idea: create something that’s more than just clothing. I wanted to build a brand that inspires confidence, celebrates achievements, and encourages you to push your limits.

Back in 2018, I was working a factory job that I absolutely hated and I knew that something needed to change, I just didn’t know what path I wanted to go down. Then, I found fitness in early 2019 and instantly fell in love with it. I enjoyed the discipline, the confidence and the work-ethic it instilled in me, so much so that I decided to become a Personal Trainer. Over the last six years, I’ve had the privilege of helping others transform their lives through fitness.

As someone with a passion for fitness, fashion and a love for self-expression, I often struggled to find pieces of clothing that felt like a true reflection of who I was. Fast fashion didn’t cut it, and high-end labels didn’t feel relatable. So, one day in early 2024 I decided to take the leap, and Distinct FourFour was born. "Distinct" meaning to be recognisably different and "FourFour" representing number 44's spiritual significance.

The brand is deeply rooted and inspired by my own fitness journey. Some of my unique milestones include completing a fitness photoshoot in 2021, competing in 2 Hyrox events, and conquering both my first marathon and an ultra-marathon in 2024. These experiences taught me resilience, mental and physical strength, and the power of setting ambitious goals—values that are woven into every piece we create.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges, but each one has shaped myself and the brand into what it is today. Distinct FourFour is still currently a one-person operation in which I am managing everything from designing, marketing and fulfilment myself. Everything I create is designed to help you feel your best, whether you’re dressing up, dressing down, or just being yourself.

Distinct FourFour isn’t just a clothing brand, It’s a Lifestyle.
